YÖKSİS Information System


What is YÖKSİS ?
Higher Education Council Information System (YÖKSİS) is a central database of higher education, academic and administrative staff, students backgrounds and many different information.
 
Offers necessary procedures between higher education council and the universities for staff approval, unit movements and staff assignments . YÖKSİS, where academic staff can enter detailed CV’s and obtain many reports online, it also provides this information to other stakeholders via web services.
 
YÖKSİS which serves our institutions such as MEB (ministry of education), MSB (minisrty of national defense), TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute), SGK (social security system) and OSYM (MEASUREMENT, SELECTION AND PLACEMENT CENTER), each day is becoming a more integrated state.
 
YÖKSİS is the only address where information can be provided on all subjects related to Higher Education Institutions.
 
It is the module where all existing and closed units are kept in historical structure.  It is like a units tree where almost all information is saved for a central reference source.
 
Its a module, where academic staff and lectures can enter their CVs, and keep detailed information in about 14 different topics.
All kinds of staff movements could be done with demand and approval forms followed through the system.
 
All students enrolled in our higher education institutions are added to the student database by our universities. This information is provided to the stakeholders through web service. After a short time, "Diploma and Graduation System" will be established.
 
All information in the system is presented in the module as meaningful and available reports. As the diversity of information increases demands of new module is expanding too.
 
Many detailed information forms of our Higher Education Institutions such as Legal procedures, Bologna Process Forms, Entrepreneur Innovative University Index, Women's Work procedures, are available in separate modules and integrated with the YÖKSİS system.
 
Which information can be transferred to YÖKSİS?
 
Many information like academic staff changes, disciplinary procedures, foreign academic staff can be transferred to YÖKSİS by personal department.
 
How can you take password for YÖK system?
 
Personnel Department enters the information of the academic staff work and transaction procedures, when the transaction is completed the password automatically will be sent to the academic staff's e-mail address.
* In case the academic staff request of the password that is sent during registration, they must reach pdb@gelisim.edu.tr via e-mail and request new password. The new password will be sent by YÖK to the corporate e-mail addresses of the relevant academic staff.
